Chance of frost!

It been a long wait. Four years ago when I first started planting I was hoping this day would come. I decided all planting while being ornamental must be at least 50% native species.

The hawthorn is one of those. I read up on them and found out they can be quite finicky sometimes. At best I could hope to see blossoms at four years in or later.

Year four is here and so are my blossoms.  Six only, on only one of the three trees but still blossoms none the less! Rejoice in their splender!
